Human space exploration seems like a waste of money, getting someone to mars for example would require massive time investments and weeks worth of payload. We already know tons about that planet already. I am however greatly interested in acquiring humanwide knowledge through unmanned probes like Voyager I and II. The space telescope programs (optical, radio, and greater wavelengths) are hugely beneficial to science. I also think some of NASA's budget should fund terrestrial based particle accelerators, we can learn about space there too. Human exploration is dangerous, expensive, and unnessary

Uh, yeah. I am a major "space junkie" I get regular updates from NASA, have my own NasaPage. And i am checking up on every mission, and anything else Nasa does... I don't think the space program should be "suspended" cuz then Nasa won't come up with really cool stuff that makes my life easier... Does that answer your question...

Hi. Yes, I just watched the landing on live NASA TV. On my computer. With an LCD display. Using circuits that were developed using technology used in the space program. When you lose your curiosity you may as well fold your arms and lay down.

I am very interested in the Space Program, and it is because of that interest I can say that I definitely think they should suspend it, until a manned vehicle with proper safety features can be built, the Shuttle was a travesty

Yes if u want to stay up u must spend some effort to understand. The progress that NASA has done will take years to catch up. Of coarse I am a little influenced in that direction. I worked for them in Goddard for 17 years.

The space program is the best investment in our economy, our education, and our future that the gov't ever made. I'm sorry you're bored by it. But 'I'm bored' isn't a reason to cut the program or the salaries of the millions of people it supports. That's right, millions. Including me. And it's not my job to entertain you.
