I want to know what to look for to buy my family members when my husband and I go to Greece in 2 weeks. I don't like to buy little "knick-knacks" or junk to set on the coffee table. T-shirts would be a good option for my 23 yr. old brother and my 20 yr. old sister, but what would be something nice for my parents?

Just returned from my trip and I felt the same way about knick nacks.

-I broght home some Greek Evil eyes charms for their cars.(you will see what I mean there are everywhere)

- A sun dress for my mom in a local shop. It had the a hint of local style and is the same blue as the mediterainian sea.

-Greek (turkish) delights and coffee for my Dad.

-Greek Eye glass beaded fashion bracelts for my cousins.

-Some beautiful handmade/embrodered aprons for my 2 grannys

I would advise you to buy also a book of greek kitchem and books of history, or other places of Greece..
The souvenirs you can find them everywhere, but a book of the mythology, or the most interesting places of the country, will always be useful for your next travels, as a tourist guide also..

Sometimes it's nice to get something that will always remind you of a specific event that happened while you were over there. Something that says more than "I went to Greece."
