After the whites left Zimbabwe, the economy went into turmoil, due to the loss of capital and the most productive farms. But the real reason for Zimbabwe's trouble is Robert Mugabe. He began his career as a devoted Marxist and friend of Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev. Since Zimbabwe's independence in 1980, Mugabe has made one policy mistake after another. Recently, the currency collapsed, and in an effort to ebb the chaos, Mugabe has taken steps that discourage business and investing.

Going from the stone age to the petro/computer age in less that 100 years is no easy trick. Technology is disruptive enough to cultures that develop the technology let alone cultures that lag behind technology to the point of 50 or more years. Rushing the process of assimilation creates unwarranted blood shed and grief.
Patience , perseverance , compassion, acceptance of diversity of culture , etc. is the way, Pretty difficult to cram the idea of a cattle ranch down the throat of a Buffalo hunter over night without a lot of decent people perishing along the way.

because gurillas now run the country and have no clue what they are doing and no desire for outside help that focuses on the good of the nation, just the good of them and their thugs.
They are not teaching the people anything other than the fact its the white mans fault but not how to farm or cultivate the land properly. Its a mess.

Because Robert Mugabe is a senile old Marxist-Nationalist, without any consideration for his people, with exceptions for those that will continue to prop-up his ruinous feifdom for his and their own benefit.

I suspect it's because the majority Black population was provided with so little experience at running their Country by the Whites. It's going to take them quite awhile to "get their acts together" over there.
