U.S. Matt Dillon decided to take the day off!! WHAT?? Was the sky falling?! Well, if you've been a' readin' my stories all along, pardner, you already know that this is becoming a bit of a habit with him......Taking life a little slower; Stopping to smell the roses as it were. Ever since he met Sunshine MacGillicutty, Matt was a changed man. He preferred life out on the farm.....her spread, just South of Dodge. He loved watching the sun rise through their bedroom window:

The lake itself was so beautiful.....Matt could stay there for hours,listening to the waves lap gently onto the shore.

Matt rolled over in bed and looked at her. He smiled as she cuddled the puppy.

She started to wake up......." Hi, baby." She moved closer to him."Give us a kiss, ducks." Matt didn't have time to laugh at her silly expression. Her lips covered his ......and wouldn't let go.

When he finally did make it out of bed, he told her that he was going to fix them up some breakfast.
Sunshine:"No thank you, sweetie. I'm hungry!"
Matt,laughing....."Hey! (5.) Have A Little Faith In Me, sweetie. You just stay right here and let papa do the cooking. Twenty minutes later as the two of them were putting out the grease fire, she shooed him out of the kitchen and took over.
Matt was crushed that his attempts at culinary delight had ended in disaster.
Matt:" I'm..........Well....I'm sort of.....The thing is....."
Sunshine:" (2.) Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word." She laughed as she gave him a quick hug.

After breakfast, they decided to take a ride. Matt saddled up their horses (Now this he COULD handle!) and off they went. They rode all around the farm and ended up down at the lake.

Matt:"Well it looks as though you CAN lead a horse to water and make him drink!!" He laughed at his own joke. Sunshine smiled at him and wrinkled her nose.
Matt:"You know.....Good thing I'm not (3.) The Jealous Kind .
You spend so much time with the animals, I almost get left out of the shuffle.
Sunshine:"Why don't you just shuffle on over here, baby."
Matt:"The woman is insatiable!"

Sunshine:"I've got an idea. Let's get out the canoe and paddle the lake." Before long they were exploring some of the nooks and crannies of the lake.
Sunshine was deep in thought. Sunshine:"Matt.....Do you ever think about reincarntion?" He smiled at her. "Matt? I think we've been together before....in another life."
Matt:"What makes you think that?"
Sunshine:"Well.....just a few minutes ago when you were humming that tune, I got a strange sensation.....Like I'd heard it before. I don't know....It was just a feeling."
Matt:"Maybe we WERE together in a former life. If there is reincarnation, and if we have a say in all of this...." He flicked some water on her....."I KNOW we were together......One thing I do know, babe. We have (6.) Many Rivers To Cross in THIS life." He leaned forward to kiss her......."And I want to cross them all with you, SunnyMac."

They found a quiet cove and dropped anchor. Matt sat on the floor of the boat and Sunshine leaned against his chest. Suddenly she sat up. Sunshine:" Matt......We've been here before.......I feel certain we have." She looked up at him......."We were in this very spot......When we were children."
Matt:"You mean in another life? Baby, if you say we have , then we have."
She lay back again in his arms.
Matt:"Sunshine....My little one.....(4.) You Are So Beautiful.
I'll just bet you're right. And I'll just bet that though I was just a young lad..........I know I was in love with you."

Eight o'clock already. She promised to meet me at seven and now she was an hour late. 'Just Like A Woman' I thought. 'Hope she's not meeting someone else. After all I am The Jealous Kind. But she wasn't like that You'd have Many Rivers To Cross before finding anyone more faithful. I decided to drive over to her place. When I got there she was standing on the porch talking to another man. Suddenly he held out his arms and cuddled her. I decided to go across and have it out with her. As I got there she turned and came towards me. I noticed that she'd been crying.

"Oh I'm so glad you're here. You haven't met Tom my brother have you. He just came over to tell me that Grandma died and I was so upset I didn't notice the time. I'm so sorry."

"Your brother?" I stammered, "And Grandma's died? I thought there must be something wrong. Don't be sorry. Have A Little Faith In Me. You Are So Beautiful when you're sad, but please, cheer up, at least Grandma's not suffering now."

"Yes I know, and I will try to be more positive. Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word to say. I knew you would understand."

I was so relieved, not that Grandma had died of course, but that she hadn't been unfaithful. We went inside and she introduced me to Tom properly. Later after he'd left and she was more composed I realised how much I loved her and proposed.

Well she accepted and we've been married now for ten years and have two beautiful kids and, do you know, we still visit Grandma's grave every Sunday after church.

you be attentive to, Papa enjoyed Mama and that they have got been 2 of a variety, engaged on an entire homestead. yet one nighttime, because of the fact the thunder rolls, lightning struck, and there all of us have been status exterior the hearth. Yep, lighting fixtures struck the porch roof. fortuitously for the kin, we've various buddies in low places and that they got here and helped us circulate. Mama did the dance around the backyard as we moved into our new trailer. I grinned as I regarded around the line and observed the solid-lookin boy over there. Lordy, we are able to be loose i theory as he took my hand and we headed someplace different than the nighttime.
