I hate those coins!

Only if you want everything to be at least 4 cents more expensive (including your gasoline,.yikes!),..and guaranteed price increases of at least a nickel or multiples of 5-cents every time a cost goes up.
For those who would eliminate pennies, thank goodness they are not running any economies.

Not really,if you have notice,many stores have a spot for pennies for the public in case you don't happen to have one available because usually your purchase never lands with an even amount,notice also that almost every item sold has a 99 cent instead of a whole dollar.pennies will become obsolete not because they are useless,but because they cost more to make than what they are worth,incidently some pennies are worth a small fortune like the 1955 double die mint

No they have uses I mean how else do you get like 6 cents or 16 cents and so on without them? the dollar pieces was the most useless coin which is why they aren't in use anymore

In our country it takes more money to make a penny than to make a nickel!!!how absurd I think pennies should be phased out,pennies are just extra weight and its only good for names for pets haha!!=0

Nope. The peso is much, much worse. The peso is aproximately 1/10 of a penny. Talk about worthless!!!

I don't think so. Add up all the pennies lying around on the ground in the world, and see how much you get!

No way! Every penny counts. Comes in handy when you gotta pay taxes when you go grocery shopping etc. They can also fill up a piggy bank pretty fast :-)
