I spend (depending on how much money I get from holidays) atleast $30 a year, but I don't buy any that are more than $20. I am a really good bargain shopper. Trust me though, I don't buy anything ugly. lol

I don't think, between my parents and me, that we've spent $300 on shoes for me in my 30 years. So for a girl to say that she spends that a year, is disgusting. Actually, I think I pity the parents.
This year, I've spent $45 on shoes-- A pair of Converse All Stars that are of poor quality (when I bought them in high school when they were actually Chucks and not Nike, they didn't start to depreciate after a year) that cost $20 on clearance (I used to get one pair a year in high school for $20). The other pair is a pair of black loafers from Payless that I'm returning because they're too big.
It's disgusting that I bought my first pair of sneakers in over ten years, close to 15 (Converse used to be great quality) and I already feel as though I need a new pair. I get more support and comfort from a pair of brown loafers I bought four years ago and only cost two or three dollars at a Spiegel outlet going out of business sale. Actually, it's nauseating. I wonder if Nike still uses sweatshops....

There is so much variety in women, it's hard to even estimate. There are women that will spend $500 on one pair of shoes, and there are women that only buy a pair of $20 sneakers for the whole year. I'm sure this varies greatly.

I would say the average woman with the average income spends $500 to $1000 on shoes in a year.

My tastes have switched from Payless to Steve Madden, although I still try to maintain myself and very rarely treat myself - only $200-300 in the past year. Oh, but then gotta add in the boots - but those were only $60 since I got them clearance. And I love Nike Shox...but only treat myself when I have a good night at the casino (in other words, I'm long overdue for gym shoes). For me...average would probably be about $500.

$20...i got all-star converse like shoes for that price. next time i walked to the center everyone was looking at them, all my friends liked them, even tho they weren't converse. they were called Wink. very original but cheap. i got them in a little town in Sarajevo...but elsewhere in Europe, it would be pretty expensive. many women buy one pair of shoes for around $300-$500. pretttttyy expensive..it should be cheaper in the States...$50?

I own (no lie) 300 pairs of shoes. I buy designer names at discount prices. I have one closet just for shoes. So If you calculated the price of the shoes at full price, maybe several thousands?

Very little, they put two pair in a closet where they reproduce. After a few months the oldest pairs self destruct.
