What would I have to do to do to go about that? Do you have to go to college for this or just take some chourses. How long would it take? After you complete that what would you do next?

1) you need a high school diploma.
2) search real estate schools for your state
3) register and pass the school testing/hours
4) apply for your liceanse with the state & day dues
5) pass the state exam
6) activate your license by placing it with a broker and notifying the state.
7) some states require you to also be a member of the MLS board in your local area or somewhere within the state

The process varies from state to state. Generally, you are required to take a specified course or courses and complete with passing grades. After that, you will need to take a two part exam (part federal and part state specific) and pass that exam successfully also. At that point, you should qualify for a license. Application for license is simple, once you have proof of completion of the required courses and exams.

just take some classes, pass the test and you are one in less than 6 months.

Just apply at different Real Estate Co.s, they will advise you on what and where, or may train you themselves.
