I have not had a problem installing using a Mac. Can you update to give more information on what is causing you not to be able to install the router.

most routers are designed so that they can be used by both MAC and PC users. but since MAC users are less in number there is not much support available for them.
you may find this link useful.
http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Drivers/Linksys-Wireless-G-Broadband-Router-WRT54GS.shtml
but you need to be more specific about what kind of problem is coming up when you are installing.
but the best thing to do would be to call tech support. they ussually have a specialised team for MAC users.

You can use a Linksys Router, you just need to call the 800 number for installation instructions from Linksys.
I did this last week.

Routers work independently of the computer. I have a home network (a netgear router), with all sorts of computers hooked to it. I have PC, Mac, two printers, a fax machine, vonage telephone...all running through my router. In fact, you can install a router on your home Internet connection with no computer at all.
