He sure was impeached. He was not convicted or removed from office, but he was impeached. He did lie to the American people, and a federal grand jury.

No impeachment charges filed but it takes two thirds of the Senate to impeach. But congress made a statement that this kind of behavior will not be tolerated. Yes he lied to the American people and to a grand jury. But he did not violate the constitution.
But GWB has violated the constitution he swore to uphold. An impeachment would not get past the Senate but it would make a statement.

And acquitted by majority vote. The evidence against him was so ridiculous that even the Republicans couldn't completely agree he was guilty. And I'm sure a lot of them voted guilty because of partisanship rather than evidence.
When Clinton lied, no one died. Bush has been lying from the moment he said, "I will restore honor and integrity to the White House." A majority of the American people said that wasn't necessary. Now we find out that, at least for him, it isn't possible. He can't even restore honor or integrity to his own house.

You mean
while Gingrich and others in the republican party were having affairs as well.
Not impeached unless the Senate voted to impeach. The House was just made up of republicans in the majority and that is all it took to vote for house impeachment.
This was pure political vengance

Yes and yes. A Judge reduced Kenneth Starr and the rest of the case to onion rings. He just left smiling.
It started as a sexual harassment case against him. Not just the not sex act. He lied during the investigation, to the Grand Jury, to the nation on TV and least of all we forget his family.
Pretty scary you can do that. You nor I could. And he was forgiven just to see Hillary run for herself as top dog.

Yes, he lied:
To his wife
American public
To a Federal Judge
To God, "I want, God to make the person I want to be." Duh
I believe it is supposed to be " I want to become the person God wants me to be."
For this:
He was impeached, but not removed from office, because the tie breaker vote was Al Gores, then president of the Senate.
He lost his license to practice law in the State of Arkansas for lying before the judge.

Yes he was but what is the point of the question? We shouldn't vote for Hillary because of that? I sure wouldn't want to be judge by the doings of my significant other, Would you really?

Time for someone new!
