i need to come up with reasons why slytherin is the best house (i am a slytherin so thats why it has to be slytherin)

Slytherins are the most practical and rational when it comes to decision-making... Gryffindors are too emotional while Hufflepuffs are too concerned with ethics and Ravenclaws are just bookworms.
Slytherins don't need to be smart to be successful. They set goals and reach them, no matter what it takes.

They're ambitious and 'take charge' people. They do whatever they have to to get what they want. They're cunning and talented, strong in magic. In the real world, I believe they'd beat the pants off Gryffindor.
(As an aside, while I don't think Slytherin is best, Gryffindor is a combination of all the best qualities of each house, plus a healthy dose of courage and loyalty.)
