the road motioning for us to stop. At first we thought she was crazy being in the middle of the road that way, but then we saw a mother duck and her 6 babies cross the road! We were probably a good 1/2 mile from the lake (quite a way for a duck to travel).
How cute was that?

That would be so cute. They are always cute when they are little. That is a weird way for a duck to travel though. I have seen quite a few bigger ducks cross a road but never babies.

Thats so cute! Reminds me of that one time when I was little, we were driving up the coast and a cow was just standing in the middle of the road with this lazy expression on its face. It would not move! We had to drive around it. That was hilarious!

I get that alot here too....We live next to a lake as well...Its hard breaking actually because they are so tiny you can't see them sometimes...
