there was like 10 seconds left and canada was down 2-1, they kicked the ball and it went off a usa player and then across the offside line, canada then had a 2 on 0 and put the ball into the net, the replay showed it was not offside and it should have counted, again...canada is screwed by bullsh!t america.

It was a bad call. I'd be interested in knowing America screwed the canadians. Were any of the refs/line judges americans? Officiating mistakes will always be part of the game unfortunately, which is probably one reason the matches are an hour and a half long. The canadians had plenty of time to take the match out of the refs hands and various scoring opportunities. They didn't capitalize, and the score is what it is. Have the argentinians sent a delegation up there to teach canadians to come up with conspiracy theories whenever they lose matches?

Hey! Lets get one thing perfectly clear! Canada was not screwed over by the US! Bad officiating by the the refs screwed over Canada! Canada did very good in the tournament and they do deserve a lot of credit but don't blame the US because of the bad officiating done by the refs because they were not Americans. This years Gold Cup has been marred by bad officiating which leads many including myself to wonder if it has been somehow rigged so that it is the US vs Mexico in the final. This is speculation and has yet to be proved. Anyways, I'm glad that the US won, though. I'm also impressed with Canada as well. I'm not impressed with the officiating for this Gold Cup though. If your going to place the blame and your apparent hatred on anything, then place it where it belongs which happens to be the refs. You also say that "again...canada is screwed by b.s. america". Tell me something. How and when have we screwed over Canada in the past?

I blame the linesman, but it was a goal.

Only thing was, it was scored at around 4:47 of extra time when there was only 4 mins of extra time added! So the game should never have gone that far.

Bad officiating throughout the whole game anyway.

I think everyone agrees it was a goal, but for you to say Canada got screwed by bs America is absurd.

If the linesman was in fact biased, he would have been biased against the states. Don't you think Mexico ( the linesman being Mexican ) would much rather play Canada since they have not beaten the US in the states in at least 7 years.

I just checked it out on Youtube....
It was a goal.....

The moment the ball left the Canadian midfielder...the forward who was going to end up with the ball was Onside.....
As he made his run, the US defender was able to head the ball in where at the moment....the Canadian forward was already ahead of all of the defenders....hence the referee flew up his flag.....BUT....it was the US defender who headed the ball back and thats open play for the Canadian Forward...

Goal should of stand....huge mistake by the linesman....

Hey, it was clearly a goal. This is coming from a huge USA fan. I don't like winning like that, but what can USA do? The referee made the call, not me, the USA team, or anybody else.

Was it a goal? Yes. Whose fault was it? The linesman's. No one else's.

Also, Canada's goalkeeper should've been given a red card for taking down Beasley. He was the last man and he took out Beasley. That has always been a red card and always will.

The game shouldn't have gone to the 4th minute of extra time anyway.
