Is the work over there good?Like they say its the best place to start an acting carrer or is it the same as new york??

It depends on the type of work you want. For tv and film, this is the place to be. There are opportunities in NY too of course, but I believe there are more here. In NY however there are many more theatre opportunities. We have tons of theatre here too, but in my opinion the NY theatre scene is more on the cutting edge.
Anywhere with studios and production companies is a good place to start. If you live in an area where they have a budding industry, try to start locally and get some credits. LA is extremely competetive. People move here every year from all over the place just for pilot season, so be prepared for the competition!

I think that it is is the best place to start an acting career, but you have a very slim chance. There are a lot of crazies over here and everything is extremely expensive. I honestly do not like California that much tbh.
