the architect of the insect world...
& a certain type of their web is stronger than a steel...

I would LOVE to ask a spider: "Do you love me, or hate me?"
& they'd say: "Ooooo! You only have two legs, & you're ugly, & you scare me!" I don't understand all the fear & hatred of spiders. Have you ever noticed, when someone looks at a spider, they curl up into a little ball trying to make themselves invisible? Spiders are very smart. I love to watch them weave--& sometimes, (the webs are so very strong!) after a rain, you can see colours in them. I don't want them in the house, because I have a cat, & I know some spiders sting. (Bite? Sting?) They seem to know I don't mean them any harm, & I just scoop them up in toweling & put them outside. I don't LOVE them, but I value every living creature. Can't help myself here, but I see a similarity in the way humans treat other humans. Oooo, you're ugly, you're different! SQUASH! SPLAT!! Think about it?

How many people do think walk around saying... You wanna know my favorite of all God's creatures? Spiders. I just love them so much. Obviously God did too. To give them so many cute little legs.
Spiders serve a purpose. If you dont like them, walk away- but dont step on them. They eat the little bugs that crawl in your bed at night while you sleep.

I do not like thme anymore!! I was minding my own business having a nice relaxing Radox bath when I look up and there is this Spider on the wall staring at me. SO I said what the **** are you doing??? and I am so sure it showed me a leg!!!! Now I i'm not fluent in spider language but I am sure it wasn't waving hello.

I found them amusing until I read this evening in the newspaper of a local man man who suffered agonies after being bitten by what he identified as a Black Widow spider, presumably imported on a bunch of bananas. Now I am beginning to wonder. Here in the U.K. we have grown complacent re. spiders as we do not have indigenous dangerous species.

I dont really have a problem with them, so i dont love them, but i dont hate them, like if there is a spider anywhere in the house i just pick it up by a leg and then throw it out the window or front door! (I do wash my hands later on!!) So they dont bother me, i hate WASPS or Bumblebees!!! Damn they piss me off, ruin the whole summer for me!

I like spiders, love would be a little strong. I don't kill them around the house unless they get in the way. They keep a low profile and eat other insects that may wander in. It's a symbiotic arrangement.
