Your portrayal of Genghis Khan is worthless. Why not read about him. He was not an emperor, and calling him a mass murderer is a waste of thinking, if that is what you call what you are doing.

Khan believed in Shamanism. Later in life he became interested in the Buddhist and Tao religions. Khan supported religious tolerance and equality.

If anything he probably worhipped idols or fetishes, representing pagan gods, not Muslim or Buddhist.
Muslims hadn't spread their doctrines that far yet, and Buddhists don't believe in violence.
