I'd marry the poor man. I don't focus on material things. I'd rather spend my life with a poor man that I loved then to be with a rich man who I didn't love. Cause that could cause me to feel lonely when I could be with someone who loves me back just as much. And I just feel when you leave this world you don't take material things with you, you leave behind the love that you left in someones life and you take the love you've gained and received in your heart. So why live for the material things a rich man can give you that didn't come from the heart when you can be with a poor man that can make you feel like your the world to him and not having to be rich to do it.

Of course the poor man is the answer good women will give. Yet true; there are women who will only date and marry rich men for the money...and rich men are idiots that let them. Money really has nothing to do with real love for men.
Money is topical...no depth to it at all as far as feelings are concerned.
If you fall in love with a woman who loves men with money...she's got no depth...she probably is high maintenance and has debts.
If you fall in love with a woman who loves you for who you are and not what you have to offer her financially...you've found a true sole-mate.
If you ask this question because you think women are not attracted to you because you don't have money...guess again. Poor people get married every day.
You might take a couple personal growth courses that will increase your self esteem...so that with or without money you will attract that special someone.
If you think better about yourself, you'll be surprised how many people will thing better about you.

Well, I am happily married to a man who is NOT rich but, if i were to marry again I hold to the statement
Marry the first time for LOVE, Marry the second time for MONEY! haha
I would probably try to find a man whom I loved and who had a nice wallet but, I don't plan on getting divorced but, that is what I would do I i were!!!

I'd find a way to help the poor man I loved to become a rich man.
Sadly that doesn't always work - so
Barring that - I'd find something to love and admire about the rich man.

You know what? that is really a strange question to ask......it shouldn't be about how much money they have or don't have, it should be about your feelings...if you feel more for the poor man, then the rich man is not even a issue...don't go for the material things when it comes to love, go with what your heart tells you..too many people make the mistake with going with the man with money only to be let down when the question of love comes up...because truthfully, most people with money only love their money...they can't serve two masters....and people with money are smitten with the mystique of the almighty dollar...they don't have time for anything else.
Peace.

The poor man. When I divorced my first husband my mother told me to marry a rich man. So I asked her why I would marry a rich man that I didn't love. She told me that I would be taken care of. So I asked her If I married a rich man that I didn't love because he had money I would be sleeping with him for money. My mother told me that was OK because we were married. So I asked her what would she call a woman that slept with a man for money? She said a prostitute. I told her that I'm not a whore and I would never sleep with someone for their money. Long story short if you are with someone because of money and not for love you are a whore. Marriage or not if you are married that makes you a legal whore. Still a whore. There is only one profession that women get paid for sex. that is what you are doing if you marry someone you don't love just for money.

I pick love!!!! As long as he wasnt just a bum. He has to be at least trying. Have some kind of job he goes to regularly so he can help contribute to the effort of surviving. Unless I had a super good job and he wanted to be Mr. MOM. but then he would have to actually do that job right too, some guys pretend thats what they are doing but the house never gets cleaned and the kids get ignored. But its ok if he's poor as long as he's giving the same effort I am.

The poor man. I would rather be w/ a man who loved me for the right reasons not one who thinks he can buy my love and affection. My husband is gone alot do to work even though he makeds good money if he were to lose his job and we had to give up everything I would still love him so far he hasnt let me down financially.
