The usual suspects listed most of the time include Ruth, Mickey Mantle, and Dick Allen. Unfortunately, there's not a definitive answer to the question and a lot of the supposed "records" are exaggerated - for example, Mantle's 565-foot blast was recorded from where the ball was found, not where it originally landed.
This article does a good job of debunking some of the myths, and providing plenty of info about long homers throughout baseball's history:

Scratch the Adam Dunn thing.... According to the Guiness Book of World Records, "The longest measured home run in a Major League Game is 193 meters (634 ft) by Mickey Mantle (USA), when playing for the New York Yankees against the Detroit Tigers at Briggs Stadium, Detroit, Michigan, USA, on September 10, 1960."

Babe Ruth allegedly hit a home run that landed on a moving train, so there's no telling where that one hit the ground.
In 1976, Dave Kingman hit one at Wrigley Field estimated (by some) at 630 feet.
In 1964, Dave Nicholson of the White Sox hit one at Comiskey Park estimated at 573 feet.
In 1953, Mickey Mantle hit one at Griffith Park estimated at 565 feet.
In 1960, Mantle hit one at Tiger Stadium that went between 520 and 550 feet.
Most of these rely on sketchy eyewitness accounts and on unscientific measurements, so take them with a grain of salt. But it does seem like some there have been some home runs hit over 500 feet.

Technically, MLB recognizes Micky Mantle's 565 foot shot off the lights at Yankee stadium as the longest; but, Jose Canseco's play-off shot into FIFTH deck at the skydome in Toronto was amazing. A line drive frozen rope that hit the seats still going up!
