I'm a pretty easy go person but for the last 3 weeks of taking my child to Preschool this one particular mother keeps going on & on about her little ones B-day party!
(Nothing wrong with this, as I see a proud parent)
She tends to yell at other parents whom are picking up their children, "Did I give you________ B-day invitation yet?
Then other kids plus mine or asking, "How come we didn't get one?" To us it's nothing but to a kid at age 3,4 and 5 That's THEIR WORLD! :(
I swear if I have to hear her one more time I will go up to her and what_______?
Are be the better parent and shut my mouth?
How about you guys, what would you do?
(I just feel how cold and unthoughtful, at lest ask lower and in private. That way no little ones are hurt.)
This remind me of the Mc Donald's having B-day partys there, when other kids whom play in the same area as that party!
Wondering why they don't have any cake. Shame on these people! Thank you ;-)

I've first hand saw 4 kids ask," Can we go, did you get our invite?" So when I listed this poll, I speak for all parents & children plus my own. I could see one or two days. But weeks!!!!!

At my sons' school, they had to either invive the entire class or no invitations could be done at school. I think that's a good rule for the reasons you stated. I would have to let her know how she's making other kids feel.

It's really sad how people don't think or care about little kids feelings. I would think telling your child that he/ she is going to be doing something fun too would help. Invite a few friends and plan something special. Kids are easy to please and really appreciate it.

I would definitely talk to her about it. She's being thoughtless and inconsiderate of the other kids' feelings.
