If no one would mourn your passing, then you've got some work to do before you go. Think of something wonderful you can do for others; when that's done, you can sign off with no regrets.

Well, you're going to die anyway some day, whats the rush? Besides, what if reincarnation is real? Then all you are doing is going back to the start of the game. Shouldn't you at least put effort into finding out your scenario? Go talk to mystics, monks, and priests, physicists and cognitive scientists. Find out about your own perceptions and reality as it is, not as you think it to be. You don't even know what your life IS, yet you want it to end? Find the root of your own suffering, your wanting and desires, and release that. Hang in there!

What possible excuse could anyone give for Killing themselves, that would be credible????
Being alone in the world is a falsehood..the world is full of people, and you can make connections. !
Depression? Not anymore, there are a plethora of options to deal with it..I know personally!!!!!!
Feelings of inadequacy, paranoia, etc....
All of these and more can be treated or helped if someone wants to be helped.
The very Idea that suicide is an option is cowardly to the very core.!!!!
You'll never know what life can be if you won't try and live it.
Second to second, moment to moment, day to day.
Even the grayest of days have beauty in it for you to discover.

well if you ascribe to the judeo-christian creed you believe that life isn't something you own, its something on loan, and therefore, you haven't the right to take it.
if not, then you need to find your own reason. simply put, everyone has something to contribute to the world, so instead of musing on whether its wrong to kill yourself, you might do well to concentrate on what your future contribution to humanity is.

i got no problem with it if you have mourners or not. i get kind of tired of the mourner excuse thing. leaving behind a bunch of self-pitying fools is a good excuse to do yourself in.
