Why photocopier produces wavy/wrinkly prints?

Hi,

I have a Canon FAX L780 photocopier / fax machine. Recently, it started to produce copies with wrinkly text and content.

eg. Original copy : Staight line
Copy version : wavy line

If you know why, please help. Thanks

PS: I tried cleaning the fax / scanning glass and using good quality printing paper.

Could be the scanner mechanism not running smoothly, check manual for cleaning procedures. or Contact a service centre in your area

if it is a inkjet printer that uses ink instead of toner....your printhead could be out of alignment....check your user manual on how to perform a printhead alignment.
