I've discovered a couple of years back that you have to do something that you love (not sleeping, eating, or being lazy), and waking up in the morning looking forward to doing it.

As time progresses you will learn the negative side of that belief.

Wanting others to change is your own dissatisfaction with others. I allow you the freedom to do as you choice unfettered. Won't you allow others the same?

It may be that you have the good fortune of being able to accomplish what it is that you love. Not everyone loves the same thing. Not everyone has the ability or the freedom to do what they love. The paraplegic who loved running is no longer able to do what she loves. The singer with throat cancer is no longer able to do what he loves. the child who is being beaten may not have the ability to do what they love -- play. The woman who is being raped may not have the pleasure of walking alone on a quiet street. (Of course, this opens the door to redefining how society views the love of X.)

Judging others is a slippery slope.

not everyone is happy doing the same thing. i like being busy busy always busy. when i go on vacation it isn't for relaxation -- its to find out more about where i am going.

i find people all to often frustrate me because they get in my way. if i hear people tell me what i can't do one more time i am getting a box knife.

other people work well in groups and do the "group think" thing a lot better than others do.

it is perfectly conceivable that someone might aspire to spending their lives in a housecoat drinking diet pepsi and watching soap operas. while it might not be your uptopian ideal it is possibly someone elses.

An object at rest tends to remain at rest, while an object in motion tends to remain in motion.

This law of physics, in my experience, applies to psychology as well. Some people develop life-long habits of passivity.

Oh! And drugs and alcohol are the best way I know to kill a person's zest for life. Television is close behind.

Some people are lucky enough or forward looking enough or blessed enough to have a great job. MOST people aren't. I wouldn't damn anyone, ever, who has a job they dislike, because I have been there myself. I think intelligent empathy factors in the place of chance in human affairs too.
