Its summer and my friend's neigbour is always sunning herself by the pool right under his bedroom window. She caught him looking one day and is now giving him attitude. Now he's feeling kinda embarrased. I told him he probably wasn't the intended audience, but shouldn't beat himself up for looking. What do you think?

I guess my first question would be did she catch him just glancing at her or was he staring for an extended period of time like a stalker?

If it was just a glance then she needs to get over it and he has nothing to worry about.

On the other hand if he was staring and acting like an adolescent caught with a dirty magazine then there are larger issues at hand. In this case he should apologize sincerely and let it go but do not do this again in the future.

Is she sunning herself by her own pool or is this at an apartment or condo where she is in a public area?

If it is her personal pool then she does have some expectation of privacy but even then she was aware of the proximity of other people when she put the blanket down to lay on!!!

I think we have a right to look in any direction that we want to, from our own property.

let's see...don't lay out in your not that private back yard if you can't handle someone looking at you...i bet she's one of those women that wears a low cut shirt showing off her boobs & when guys can't stop staring she gets pissy.
tell your friend to call the police and report indecent exposure next time she lays out...that'll teach her...lol.

Its his window and his view. If she doesn't want to be apart of it then she should do something about it.
