Lost Keys
(A postmodern Haiku by Penfoldius Gobers)
Has anybody here lost their keys?
Don’t think
Don’t pat your pocket
But remember the sensation
Of wondering
When in that moment of doubt
You existed in two states and only later
Did you force reality to crystallize
And only one outcome was allowed.
Such is the nature of the realm we explore
Where we perceive the first glimpse
That the world no longer rests
On pillars of Newton and Einstein.
Where all the math turns inward
To unpick our cozy logic.
On and off
Two ways to avoid the true nature
Of a creation which is not so defined
Not compatible with human mind
Blind
As creators of our own perceptions
All we see is real
All else deception
Has anybody here lost their keys?
Don’t think
Don’t pat your pocket
But remember the sensation
Of wondering

I love the repitition at the end. I can hear it in my head ... god I love that when you can hear a piece in your head with all the drama of a stage actor.
This is why I love you.

I am the real Penfold and this is the work of Artist Don Champignon who is pretending to be Penfold. I know this work It`s part of a mad pantomime that he performed at Cambridge Strawberry Fair. Don`t tell him it`s good he`s already a raving pointy baldy headed egomaniac. He`s got loads of this stuff and will pester you with it if you give him a half a chance. He has already nicked my Yahoo id having got himself deleted for skinning a pitbull in the pet section so now take pity on lil ol me having to get some points going. He never washes up.

Its boring lengthy and inadequate.... no not really!
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, pay tribute! This is why, as tempting as it may be, you do not give up on a poem writer like Penfold . This is not a joke. This is not a test of the emergency broadcast system. This is honest to sqeeky Jesus toy truth. Penfold is not merely competent. It’s not just okay. It is brash, bold, smart when called for and stupid when required and - most importantly - it is frequently and intentionally laugh out loud funny. thanks Penfold

No. the thought your hand could have the two place and momentum ordinary to one hundred% is contradictory. all of us understand there's a decrease, a decrease that grows smaller with the aid of fact the item is greater effective. with the aid of the time you get to a hand, you have certainly no clue appropriate to the guy molecules, yet you have a sturdy theory approximately "averages" of surfaces. The recommendations of high school physics use non-deformable solids, yet communicate approximately self-interference (aka. "diffraction"). "Quantum superposition" is presently working up against your unused good judgment circuits, and asking you to *think of*. to learn some thing new. with the aid of how, "no longer shifting" remains shifting, with a cost of 0 on your physique...

That was awesome. Great ending. I loved "Where all the math turns inward to unpick our cozy logic".
I don't know if scientific magazines accept poetry, but I think you could submit this.
Sublime.

I have found my keys, but...
(by anti-penfold)
I wonder...
Do I remember the sensation?
I pat my boned dome and try and try
yet still can't think.
Has anybody here seen my old helmet?
The one with eyes?
The "clicking" is getting closer..

- Made me think a lot about where you're coming from with this. Then I saw these lines:
All we see is real
All else deception
then realized you are a Christian!

Sci fi mags do accept poetry once in a while, but I bet you could get this in Atlantic Monthly.
