Your pecans may not have been stolen at all. There is a little know Quantum effect know as Spontaneous Pecan Evaporation which can result in your nuts tunneling into a parallel universe. If you sit in the middle of the floor, cross your legs and say OMMMMMMMMMM they might turn up. I found my marbles that way

I'd send it over there too. But I'm sure you'll get some interesting answers from here too. By the way, I ate the pecans for dinner last night. Sorry. I put them in my salad. (Raspberry vinegrette and dandelion leaves...mmmm)
