If Favre can keep some healthy receivers, and his line plays reasonably well, they can win 9-10 games and make a playoff run. If Bubba Franks can re-learn to catch! I hope thay can get a solid running game going so Favre doesn't have to try and win by himself. Too much of that going on the last couple of years. people criticize Favre's stats the last few years but I give him big credit. Almost any other quarterback would sacrifice winning to pad their statistics. Favre won't. He doesn't care if he throws 10 ints. if he has to, to try and win the game. He's the greatest!!!!!

You know, had they actually done something about the receiver/running back situations... I would definitely say yes to this one but it seems that they still have a defense capable of winning a championship but they really still have no support for Favre on the offense.
You know the funniest thing is the fact that just a few years ago people couldn't stop talking about how great Brett Favre was and it wasn't even a question of whether or not the Packers would make it to the playoffs and have a run at the super bowl. Now everyone has turned on poor Brett and he's not even a "has been" but instead a "never was" and to top it all off, Green Bay making the post season is right up there with Eddie Murphy making a good movie... you just can't even fathom it. It's funny the way things change so quickly in the NFL... bunch of bandwagon fans... thats all these people are.

i think that the Packers could have a nice shot at taking the division. The only real competition is the Bears and they are crumbling away( Thomas Jones, Riviera, Briggs). The only questions i have going into the season would be the running game. What the packers are doing is a zone blocking scheme. They have been working on it for a couple of years now and like Denver, they think that they can stick any running back back there at let him get a thousand yards for the season. Lets hope this works out, it does in Denver. But i really think that if we can win our conference games we can definately get at least a wildcard spot.

While I am slightly biased because not only do I live in Green Bay, I'm a die hard Packer fan but I'm also realistic. I'd love to see them go to the Super Bowl this year. Will it happen? No, very doubtful. Most Packer fans are still fuming over the draft (or lack there of). Their still scratching their heads as to why they picked up the players they did. These guys had better all come out like gang busters or Packer fans will complain.
Because of the draft, we've come up with the Ted Thompson Drinking Game. You have to watch his press conferences and everytime he says "Good Players" or "Great Players" you have to drink. I'm telling you if you go back and watch his press conferences from the draft....you're guaranteed to get drunk. Too funny............

I'm a big Packer fan, I think there defense is good and getting better. If there offence improves just a little they can win the NFL North.

Yes, they will beat the Lions at Lambeau. They will finish at the bottom of the division. Too many questions in defensive backfield, running back, tight end, offensive line, wide receivers (although there is potential there) and yes at QB, he will have his moments when all packer fans say how great he is, but overall very inconsisten, and no where near where he was 6 - 7 years ago.

Much like our baseball club the Pack are in a weak divison--it is there for the taking!
The Brewers will hold off the Cubs, and the Packers will have to do the same with da' bears

They might because the division is weak. They have issues at rb though. If they can find a running game, they could win this division. It helps alot to play Detroit and Minnesota twice each!
