Bibby is a free agent, they don't have to trade for him they just have to be willing to pay him more than any other team is willing to pay him.

Cavs don't have the pieces to trade for Bibby. I wish people would quit saying trade Hughes. That's a great idea, only problem is NO team is going to pay $16 mill a year for garbage. Cavs won't do much this offseason because they can't.

The Cavs would need $12mil worth of player salaries to trade for Bibby. The Kings are looking for people that can rebound and they're shopping Bibby, so the deal that would be most likely to go through (if it ever happens) would be Bibby for Gooden, Varajao (however you spell his name), and maybe even a draft pick.

Bibby is a better player then anyone on the Cavs, other then LeBron James. Who would the Cavs trade for Bibby that the Kings would want?? Seriously. They would probably have to give up multiple players/and or draft picks, and would that really make them any better?? It doesn't help to get Bibby, if you have to give up to much for him. Then you would have other holes to fill at different positions on the roster.

i think that the cavs should go for a 3 way deal with Portland and try to get in on Randolph and Bibby, portland gets Hughes and kings pick, cavs get Randolph and BIbby and Kings get Marshall, varajau (sp?) and Travis Outlaw. works well if the salaries are right

if the cavs wanted bibby they would have to trade two players like hughes and marshall

I guess if they used Varejao and Pavlovic as chips, they could potentially make a trade for him. They sure could use him, they're in desperate need of a point guard. Bibby fits in well there too because he's a point guard who shoots frequently, which would allow for Lebron to play his style as distributor when necessary.

According to what I read on the Akron Beacon Journal website, they have about 11 million dollars of expiring contracts that they could package in some way to a team that wanted cap relief. That could be attractive to the Kings, but I'd wager Cleveland would have to include at least one useful player and take on a bad contract from Sacto in addition. It helps that they are in opposing conferences, that makes them a more appealing trading partner.
