7 years, same as anything else. If it isn't too late, do whatever you canto avoid this. It makes getting another place almost impossible as long as it is on your credit. I had one from my first apartment, when I was 18... I couldn't get my own apt (w/o cosigner) for seven years. It was a nightmare.

Most judgments remain on your credit record for 7 years, just like most other negative information.

you may check out paying for. All that concerns for paying for is your credit status, not any eviction you may desire to have had. i does not hire to you the two if I knew you may been evicted from someplace else.

I have saw a recent credit report that had one from 23 years ago.

up to 15 years , i made payment aranngements to pay off rent owed to keep it off my credit report, they said it can be on there for up to 15 yrs. (their laywer). retail stuff on your report is diff than real estate(even an apartment). good luck
