Send him a letter that is on exceptional quality paper, like what we used to use for a resume, 20 years ago. Tel him thank you for the opportunity etc, and provide a fax or email where he can tell you his decision. make it simple, professional and to the point. don't beg, or drop hints. good luck. I just read the other excellent ideas, just had to add the letter on good paper. If the manager you interviewed with is from the old school, aka 20 yrs ago, he will notice the paper. hand carry it to his secretary, unfolded in a full sized envelope. your efforts will be noticed. and if you go on a second interview, and they ask if you can do anything u do not know how, then say I will learn what I cannot do. I interviewed once for a job, the man asked can you work on any type of car? I said, I will `not tell you I can fix anything, but I will find out if I do not know. he hired me for my honesty. I became a manager 6 mths later.

I would send a letter or email. These days emails are more than acceptable. You should always thank them for their time to interview you, let them know you are interested, tell them how you think you could be an asset to the company, and offer them if they have any more questions to feel free to contact you, as you would be more than willing to answer them. You should always end it with, "Look forward to hearing from you soon." Or something comparable.
Good Luck!

My son just went through this. He used to send thank you notes but now he emails the people who interviews him. Ask for their cards when you either get there or when the interview is over. Good luck

Write him a thank you letter for taking the time to meet with you and that you are looking forward to forming a mutually beneficial relationship with the company as an employee. Also say something like you look forward to hearing from him very soon.
