I wanted to print out my project but it's not printing properly. It prints in stripes and does not print it out completely. I own an Epson Stylus C84 hand me down printer. It hasn't been used in about a year since I tried printing with it. I also tried replacing the ink but it printed the same. Help please

There should be a button on the printer that lets you clean the heads, just look for that. Sounds like a cleaning is all it needs.

Don't know your machine in particular but try going into "printers" and "printer services" and look for something that says "clean print head" or anything similar. There may be instructions on the new print cartridge pack about how to clean it - maybe with a cotton bud - but do read what it says first. If you haven't used the printer in such a long time maybe the in replacement was beyond its best before date too?

usually this indicates a print cartrage that is defective; try removing the cartridge and cleaning the interface between cartridge and printer; if this does not work replace cardridge
