If Bobby and Martin were alive today and in their prime. Would you vote for them as running mates? Which one should be President? Vice-President? Your thoughts?

Insightful comments so far. Imagine you are living in 1967. Johnson is President. Bobby and Martin are running against Richard and Spiro. Veitnam is raging. Woodstock hasn't happened. Timothy Leary just proclaimed "Make Love, Not War!" Kent State is just a university in Ohio. Who's to lead our nation into the next decade and beyond. McCarthy? McGovern? Wallace? Humphrey? Who?

Life is simple. Gas is 27.9 per gallon. Milk is .79 per gallon. A loaf of bread costs .19. You make a good income of $12K per year. Crack? What's that? You know every neighbor on your block. Forget about locking your doors at night. Use your imaginations.

Does anyone remember that for most of Kennedy's term over 2 million reservists were called up. The military was at about 5,000,000. We almost destroyed the human race in a thermonuclear confligration. He announced we would fight them any place any time and promptly got us into Vietnam.
Booby was his Attorney General and spent most of his term fighting with the other crime families.

Bobby would prolly be in jail for DUI, and King would be a Christian Conservative Reverend unlike the other 2 so called Reverends and self proclaimed American African leaders Sharpton and Jackson.

I would vote for MLK because he would make my people get rid of their victim status and show them their true potential.

We are too intelligent and strong to work on the plantation of the Democratic party.

News flash, folks--Robert Kennedy didn't do anything except tackle the Mafia...and he didn't even succeed at that. Oh, well...he was John's brother, but that doesn't make him a great figure, either.

You picked an interesting pair. Bobby and King. Way too volatile. I could not vote the ticket, either way. King maybe but??
No, I could not see it. Sorry. Thanks.
