I am looking at two computers one is a processor D with duel technologies and the other is a duo core.the price difference is almost $300.what would you do?

The Core 2 Duo is the better processor, however, which one you should buy is really dependent upon what you intend to do with it. If you're going to just surf the web, email, etc., you're not going to be able to tell the difference. If you use programs that require a lot of "horsepower", such as gaming, etc., then get the Core 2 Duo instead of the Pentium D.

get the core 2 duo. they are the newest n fastest chips out. the c2d is 2 pentium m's and the pentium d is 2 pentium 4s. the c2d is 64 bit.
