Personally i think that Twilight by stephenie meyer should(they are thinking about it but it isnt for sure yet)<---------that was for anyone who felt the need to be sarcastic and say that they are making it into a movie! The Pendragon series by D.J. Machale would be awesome as a movie. The Artemis Fowl series too. I like the Ranger's apprentice but i'm not sure that it is famous enough to make it.

I agree about the Artemis Fowl books. Also, Malorie Blackman's Noughts and Crosses would be great, but they've just been made into a theatre production.

there are tons n tons of books wich will be awshum to go to the big screen BUT only if its directed by a good director n adapted by the same writer of the book, im always dissapointed when i go to the movies to watch a book adaptation, they always make the great parts of the books into a bore in the movie n lose the entire punch of the book, pick any movie u like...

last movie adaptation from a book i watched was "the da vinci code" dun get me wrong, it was fine, the book was ok too but making a comparition... the book totally owns the movie, thats a rule always

interesting question but sometimes its better to leave the books only on text

if i were to pick a book 2 become a movie i shall pick Isaac Asimov's Foundation (a trilogy of kick *** SciFi)

there are rumors for a movie incoming but its from the same guy who adapted "Isaac Asimov´s: I Robot" i didnt watch the movie cuz they said it wuz more amusing to feed your cat

anyway, theres my answer, peace

Prey by Michael Crichton. Most of his books have been turned into movies. Some good (Jurassic Park) some bad (Timeline).

There wouldn't be much need for special effects, except to animate the "swarm". Lot of tension too. Ideal movie material.

John Connely's "Book of Lost Things" would make a fun movie. It's set in England, during WWII, and the quirky fantasy and fairy tale components would be interesting played out on a big screen.

I want to see Rainbow Six by Tom Clancy turned into a movie. And also the Splinter Cell books (I know it was a video game first, but there are also a few books)

Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. Me and my sister both loved the books. It would require a lot of special effects, though.
