I'm planning on having a trustworthy person drive my car and some of my stuff across the country (I don't have the time to make the trip myself)--what kinds of things should I do to make sure that things go right? I'm planning on getting a copy of the person's driver's license, but if the person hits someone else with my car, could I be held liable? What if the person gets a speeding or parking ticket along the way and doesn't pay it, will I be held liable? Is there anything else that I should be wary of? Thanks.

What is the insurance situation? Speeding or parking tickets are issued to the owner of the car, so U would need to prove that U were not driving at the time. Same for accidents. How trustworthy is the person? hope this helps.
