Belief in fiscal responsibilty to serve long term goals of sensible tax reduction with a balanced budget but without politicizing the issue; using American power quite modestly and only stated as shared goals with nations less fortunate than ourselves when battling a foe; a vision of where we can be as a nation, as a world, in constructive and earnest investments shared with others on science and education projects serving mankind; a new political language accomodating "conservative" concerns on excessive social spending while showing the liberal and traditional courage to defend the down trodden when real constitutional rights are violatedor in question; to share, in appropriate ways, what is best about America, to speak of America as a beacon of light for the future, not, a defender against nations that question our motives and sympathys?

I wholeheartedly believe that a majority of American’s are “Independent” thinkers and as such, we should have a “Party” to match.

Not every Republican is “Pro Life” nor are they apposed to gun control.

Not every Democrat is “Pro Choice” nor do they feel there is a need for gun control.

I believe that a majority of American’s fall somewhere in the middle of all the partisan poppycock.

Is that your question? properly - you're incorrect. Obama is the definition of an American - and what I mean by utilizing this is this - he's an American citizen, extra beneficial than qualified to seek for the place of work of President, he comes from a different historic past - he's merely between the tens of millions of those that make up this united states. To even think of Obama represents something different than a real American isn't purely insulting to black individuals - yet additionally to this united states. you're allowing some human beings to cloud your choose of this guy - fairly of stepping exterior your little bubble you call existence - you could fairly sit down in choose of somebody because of the fact he does not a million) seem such as you, 2) share your comparable faith or 3) dare to have his very own opinion. You generalize out of concern - recover from it!

You are wishing for the 'old school' republicans.
Ain't gonna happen. The politicos have gotten to d@m greedy and it is very difficult to determine which side of the aisle any of them are on (other than the path to the bank, which ALL of them are on)..
Yes, we need a party like you describe, with enough members to actually be a significant voting bloc.

What you describe, is Reaganism, except Reagan was OK with using American power to accomplish the spread of freedom around the world.

I too wish the GOP would move back to those beliefs. Reagan was enormously popular and won landslides because of those beliefs. The GOP needs to analyze itself and move back to those noble goals.

Sounds good to me. Democrats and Republicans alike seem to have lost their way.

And I believe we need a "GOOD" third party to keep the Democrats and the Republicans from ever getting a majority in either House of Congress again. Lately every time one party gets a majority bipartisanship goes out the window and all we get for legislation is garbage.

I think political parties have outlived their usefulness.

In the modern electronic world, ideas can be rapidly spread without the help of party infrastructure. The parties serve only as a means for corruption to infect our system...
