Comfort. I will never have problems with my feet, legs or back from wearing insanely high heels that don't fit. And if you are smart you will rethink this. No fashion is worth torturing yourself.
My guess is that you are fairly young... The older you get, the less important fashion becomes...

I prefer fashion but I need help - I need someone to show me the ways. The clothes I currently have are made for comfort and I'd like to sophisticate myself a bit.

Definitely comfort. I have my own style and like what I like. I don't care about what other people think is in style because it won't be in a year anyway.
