It seems that the most recent poll out would say that only twenty six percent of the people actually think that he is doing a good or even fair job.
That would mean that seventy four percent of the people think that he is doing a poor job or worse, but I don't think that more than say five percent of the population actually HATE him.
Personally, I dislike the man. He has no morals, and cannot speak in public. His grasp of the English language is gruesome, and he wasn't even elected, but that's for another discussion.
A president should be able to speak in complete sentences in public, and be able to pronounce multi-syllibalic words proficiently. He should be able to hold an intelligent conversation on a post graduate level, and have graduated college with better than a C average. A president should practice the morals that he professes also.
Oh, and he should be elected by the people.... And EVERYONE's vote should be counted. None of this hanging chad business. Just re do the election, but make DARN SURE that EVERYONE's vote DOES get counted. Of course I mean everyone who has the right to vote.

Hate is a strong word, but I have zero respect for President Bush.
Of the people running I would say Hillary Clinton- At least she is not incopetent, the only problem would be to much baggage from initially voting for the war and the fact that too many of the busybody public are more intereted in her marriage to former President Clinton which shouldn't mean anything. Barak Obama intrigues me and has tremendous potential but he would be to green right now for the Presidency.
No one in the GOP, they all want to follow President Bush's policies on Iraq, and they will dig their own grave.

I don't hate the President, nor have I hated any of our previous Presidents. Sadly, one of the biggest problems in our country is that things really have become all about hate. As a result, there is no civility or compromise.
Besides, hating doesn't harm the person you're hating. It's only destroying you.
Edit: You've just got to love this place. I post a totally neutral, innocuous answer, and I've already received negative ratings. Oh well, at least the internet gives the bitter, hateful people of the world a place to hang out.

Hatred is a ugly word, used by children who don't know any better, and a sick way of life. So you hate the President, do you? Just what does that accomplish?

The president of?.... you need to be more specific. Once again, I am saddened by insufficient questions and blanket answers. if you truly "hate" a person explain to us why, so we can respond more intelligently.

it's not so much about hating Bush (or Cheney) it's more about hating all the damage and destruction they cause
nearly anyone would be better than Bush as president. even using the magic 8 ball or flipping a coin to make decisions would come out much better!

I don't really hate the president. That would be pointless, and wouldn't change anything.
With that said, I wouldn't shed a tear if he were to get pushed out of Air Force 1 at 30,000 feet (as long as Dick followed him).

Someone has to be REALLY bad for me to hate them
I hate child molesters.
I hate murders (including women who get abortions)
