Prince Fielder, MLB writers are already predicting him to be in the All-time HR list this early into his career.
Tim Lincecum, if he can get better run support, he could be a dominant starter in a weak division.

There are a lot of good young players in the National League.
I would have to say Homer Bailey of the Cincy Reds. The kid is only 21 years old and I have to say has impressive stuff. He will be a future ace, cy young winner, and a force to reckon with. Too bad he plays for the Reds. Offensively, I would take Jose Reyes, he can change the game at the plate, on the bases, and defensively. Even though sometimes he makes errors just like everybody he has an arm at the shortstop position, at the plate he is very patient drawing walks which he did not use to do and for a leadoff hitter to drive in around 70 to 80 runs is impressive especially in the NL. Also, on the bases he changes the game thats how good he is. He will be a hall of famer easily if he lives up to his potential just like any young player.

Pujols is still young, therefore, he is certainly the best. Prince Fielder is climbing the ranks of the best in baseball period. Hunter Pence has a hot bat right now and he is on track to be a major contributor to the Astros. There is a lot of young talent in the NL.

Josh Hamilton from the Cincy Reds. He has had a rough time after he came back off of the DL list but he is a good player. and im not saying this because of all the things he has been through in his life. He has a cannon for an arm getting a couple assists from the outfield. and he can hit.

Prince Fielder has the biggest potential, he hits for average and power and funs decently, but as he gets older, he will become suseptible to injury because of his weight, like Mo Vaughn. Hardy, Reyes, and Russel Martin are likely the 3 that will last.

Wow. There's a lot. Here are a few off the top of my head:
Jose Reyes
David Wright
Jake Peavy
Prince Fielder
JJ Hardy
Ryan Zimmerman (although I haven't heard about him since his Rookie of the Year campaign last year)
Hanley Ramirez
Miguel Cabrera
I want to add that Saltalamacchia guy just because he has an awesome last name
That's all I can name off the top of my head :)

Jose reyes is 24 years old and already has 194 stolen bases, 350 runs scored, 615 hits, and 48 triples. If he can stay on a team with a few good power hitters behind him he is bound to be one the greatest players of our time.

Good question. I think Prince Fielder is the best young player in the league. Also getting my vote is Hanley Ramirez and (obvious ones) Reyes and Wright.
