Usually U use the Fn key (printed in blue normally) and all the BLUE letterings on the keyboard become active

There should be a key with the word "function" in the left side of the keyboard.. a lot of companies make the font blue.

F1 through F12 are always enabled, if not theres something wrong with your keyboard or its drivers.

try holding down on FN on the bottom of the keyboard. you cant turn them on. just hold FN and press (like f5) and it should work
