I think all of us have deep places in our hearts for storing old memories that we have a tough time bringing to the surface. The heart is the most important thing in our lives, but it is so easily broken and scarred. It's amazing so many people can find happiness with the constant pain. Its hard to advise friends to keep trying to find love and happiness with so many painful memories and bad experiences, but what hope do we have but to keep trying? I can tell you it does happen.

I have a small shoe box under my stove... there is only one such memory. I've been meaning to get rid of it, like incinerating it or something. I just kid myself since I know by heart the contents in detail. Don't you?

I used to but I have now officially thrown them all out. I am looking forward, not back. Living in the past can often times kill or damage your future. I would get rid of them if I were you. It was a very cleansing experience for me.

That's where mine are . . . stored in boxes, but I took them out of my closet and now they're in the attic. =)

I call it my:
*I have to get to it today urgent pile but I know I won't because I hate the stuff and have to give it to someone else to do* pile.

I have two drawers full of notes, pictures, poems...everything.
The earliest one I have goes back to 3rd grade.
I can't look at any of it...
Just reminds me of all the stuff I don't have anymore.
