good question and properly asked. He;s eye-catching, tall, courteous, has an ok talking voice and is "cool" besides as talking approximately human beings's issues. His greatest attractiveness comes from the fact that he's a youthful male baby-kisser talking for desperately needed substitute from neocon Republican rules that have not labored as quickly as in 30 years and that have been final spouted with the help of an infallibility-claiming pseudo-religious no longer very vivid oilman's son with a foul way ah wrecked the national financial equipment and alienated each and every racial and non secular team different than CEOs of firms, oil tsars and wacko religious cultists. once you have a call between an eye-catching youthful baby-kisser promising substitute and an eye-catching older baby-kisser promising national financial disaster, countless wars, racism and a takeover with the help of Medieval-minded loonies--that's no longer a call, that's a foregone end. thank you for asking. You deserve a famous individual to your politeness.

Okay, I see we have the neo-moron-cons and the out-of-work haters out in force today.
READ OBAMA'S WEBSITE. He addresses most, if not all, of the issues you bring up. And to those above who have said only a white male will ever be president, you are as un-American as a person can get. But, obviously you are also too scared by an articulate multi-cultural man who doesn't represent your narrow status quo to use your brains, what little you have.
Obama may just be the best thing to happen to America since JFK was president!

Obama is so popular because he looks and act presidential. He has a lot of confident in himself and he acts as if he really want to be president of the United States. He dresses very neat and speak very well.

Barack Obama is popular because he has a compelling life story, and more importantly, because he is speaking a different kind of language than other politicians. He holds out the hope that we can transcend the type of divisive, small-minded politics that has characterized the last 20 or 30 years. And he is incredibly smart.

Even politicians who have plans don't seem to get a whole lot done. Bush has his own agenda.

only because the majority doesn't knows who he is or what he stands for.
His latest add campaign is very insulting with young women dressed inappropriate, saying he is trying to appeal to the young voters. If young voters buy that they have no business voting.
It also should be know that he is a member of a UC/C which is borderline racist. Blame the white man for all the problems of the blacks. Totally disgusting. They played a sermon once on television from his church and it is surely not about God there.

The Dems have become such a far left Socialist organization over the last 20 years, someone as liberal as Obama would be popular among their primary voters.

He speaks pretty words, and doesn't have the baggage of actually having a record of governing, more than 3 or 4 years.
