as you should know already,Africa is the second biggest continent,it would be stupid for you to classify black Africans under one nationality.yes,we are Africans BUT the question is,are we NORTH AFRICAN,WEST AFRICAN,CENTRAL AFRICAN,EAST AFRICAN or SOUTH AFRICAN? even under these groups we get,Egyptians,Nigerians,Ghanaians,Guineans,Gambians,Kenyans,Ugandans,Cameroonians,Namibians, etc

a person's nationality is BASED on that individuals country not continent, which AFRICA IS.

do u understand now??????????

Africa is not a country, it is a continent! Look at a map. There are many nations in Africa, therefore many nationalities: Kenyan, South African, Egyptian, etc. etc.

Apart from the nation states, there are also many different tribal identities such as Ibo and others. Tribal groups transcend national boundaries since they were there before arbitrary frontiers were drawn. Members of a tribal group share a common culture and language, though they may live spread out over more than one modern nation.

North America is not a country, either. North America is a continent containing Canada, the United States and Mexico. So a person who is a Canadian is also a North American. A person who is a United States citizen is not the only "American" there is.

A nationality is just a way of defining people from the same nation, seeing as africa is a continent as opposed to just a country they do have more than one nationality

OMG. You must be an idiot. Africa is a continent that contains NATIONS. Black people from Africa could be one or more of many different nationalities.
Africans from Nigeria would be Nigerian
Africans from Egypt would be Egyptian
Africans from Kenya would be Kenyan
Africans from Cameroon would be Camroonian
Africans from the Sudan would be Sudanese
Africans from Uganda would be Ugandan

Get it?

The fact is that our nationality was stolen! I wrote a paper about this in college. White people all over this country can claim where thier ancestors are originally from but black people can't find our roots unless we pay thousands to do research and even then its a mystery because there were so many slaves on boats and they went to the highest bidder, so many slaves who were given the same last name weren't even blood related. and may have come from different countries in Africa

Dah ! Africa is a Continent, not a nation. In the continent of Africa there are many nations (countries). Hence nationalities.

P.S. Who was your geography teacher?
