i have a laptop that i bought on ebay it was protected by the system authentication bios which is on the eeprom chip. i have heard of a program that will generate the password so that you can have access to your computer.

There's no need for a password generator. If you have the service tag, all you have to do is go to Dell's support site, enter the service tag into the appropriate box, and you'll get all the information Dell has about the computer, all without having to enter a password.

i have no idea what it is, but if its software try searching www.isohunt.com, they have pretty much everything there. (you will need a torrent client if you download it from there, i advise azureus but people like differant things)
