Davion just because a couple of girls went to a Red Sox game and didn't know what things were don't mean that all the fans are like that!
Red Sox fans are actually really knowledgable and do you really think they've sold out every game for the past like 5 years with people who don't know baseball rules?
Just because those girls didn't watch the game doens't mean Red Sox fans don't watch the game.
I wrote beside watching the game because obviously thats the best part!
U dumb shiit

I love the atmosphere of Fenway. Its so close and intimate to the game. Its one of the smaller ballparks so I think that makes it better cause we're right on top of everything. I love singing Sweet Caroline. Even though like every other team stole it from us and now does it too. Yawkey was is a blast before the games. The smell of the hot dogs and sausages. EVERYTHING!!!! I love Fenway Park its so much fun and I cant wait til July 21st vs the White Sox.

Well I haven't been to a Sox game at Fenway in about 5 years but my favorite part of the Fenway experience was getting an italian sausage at the park. Nowadays I live in Chicago and only get to see the Red Sox once a year when they come into town...so now my favorite part of watching a Red Sox game is getting heckled by the White Sox fans...and then just smiling when the game is over and the Red Sox have won!

I'm with you- Sweet Caroline is a lot of fun. My wife and I got to attend a game at Fenway featuring the Red Sox vs. the Reds. Bronson Arroyo was on the hill for the Sox, facing the team he would eventually pitch for. Fenway was a great experience.

Kristy for one I adore you.For two, Davion2308 your the biggest idiot of all.I have been to Fenway, and guess what asshole, I know my baseball, and I know my team.Don't come on here and act like you know something, because in the end, you look like an idiot!!!Not all girls that watch baseball or any team in the Major League are the same way.I happen to know a **** ton about this sport, probably more then your pathetic ***.So instead of making assumptions about ALL girls, next time think before you answer a question.

Fenway park is a beautiful stadium, everyone should see it at least once. I got to play softball on the field for Family Day for the Employees it was AWESOME!! By the way, they don't only play that song at Red Sox games, they play it at Mets games too, and I'm sure those aren't the only two teams...

My god. This is why I hate Fenway.

I'm from Detroit, and when I first showed up to Boston to live and work, I was amazed at the type of fans that hovered around Fenway Park. Now, instead of BASEBALL fans, you got folks who go because it's an event.

"I went to the SOX GAME last night," girls shriek! I'd ask them who they saw play and they'd look at me like I had a huge member growing out of my forehead. "The SOX, duh!"

They never knew who they played against.

They also didn't notice the stolen base by Ortiz.

I doubt they noticed there was a game going on. They were busy wearing their pink hats, and being seen and watching other people. Do they know what a double play is? Or an intentional base on balls? Don't even get me started on balks, ground rule doubles, or infield fly rules.

No one goes any more to watch the game. Maybe 20% of the stadium is filled with real fans who care. WE don't clog the aisles and we know when to stand and ovate. I remember Matsuzaka walking off the mound after 7 and 2/3 innings of three hit, one run baseball. The folks around looked at me like I was crazy when I stood to applaud the guy. Only twenty people in our section stood up for him.

Madness!

I've never been to a red sox game, but i imagine being around a ballpark full of people who hate the yankees would be pretty sweet.
