in your families, who ended up the most succesful financially, intellectually and socially...

I don't need an essay (although write one if you want)...

I'll give 10 points to someone for saying something like:

3 siblings, all in our 30's, 1st born was smartest and 2nd richest.

5 of us all given up by paents. I do not know where any of my siblings are except one. Im the oldest, my brother right next to me is here in the city, he has been pointed out to me once, ive been told he lives under the bridge sometimes. he picks up cans for cash. i didnt finsh high school, have worked since 15 yrs old. have an ok life and ok job. been in same field for over 20 years.

Five siblings, I am second in line - sister was older. The smartest, in my opinion is a toss-up between myself and my YOUNGEST sister. She majored in early childhood education and ALL of her children are VERY bright. The statistic mentioned is only an average - there are exceptions to every rule. As to the richest? Probably my brother, because he doesn't spend money much. The others had expenses to deal with that he didn't. I inherited more money than he did, but he is now much wealthier than I am because I like to spend my money on "toys" like pricey guitars and amplifiers. The guitars and amplifers can be investments too, but I think my brother wins for the biggest bank account. He isn't a super-genius, but he is also not the lower end of the scale either. Both of our parents were quite intelligent, so I guess we lucked out there.

My family- 3 kids.

1st born - Me.
My career - Successful corporate recruiter. Definitely make the most money between all the kids, also the most educated. Married with 2 kids of my own.

2nd Born - My sister- Went to college on a full music scholarship, dropped out to follow the grateful dead around. Became a junkie. Had two kids that she has lost complete parental rights to. Has been disowned by the family. Now facing 45 years in prison on drug manufacturing charges. Complete loser.

3rd born - My brother. Jr college, now works in sales, pretty successful. Wife and one kid.

Question reminds me of my psych classes years ago!

Four of us here- all girls. 1st, 2nd and 3rd born never went to college, no student loans in those days- however both 1st and 3rd born graduated top in their HS classes. 1sr born more family oriented but has had good job positions all her life. 3rd born chose not to have kids and is so financially successful you would recognize her company and position if I could put it on here. She achieved all of that without college. 2nd born was ALL family, didn't even get a job until it was time for youngest son to go to college. Me? I am the 4th born and came along 9 years after the 3rd born- I am the baby. I had 4 "moms" so I consider myself intelligent, BUT having seen my older sisters either acheive either a great family or high to very high paying jobs w/o college, I dropped out after 2 1/2 years.

So, who is the smartest? I think all of us are in different ways. 1st born has a great family, finacially set for early retirement and could be Matha Stewart, 2nd born has a great family and plans to work after retirement, 3rd born plans to retire early and buy a condo on an exotic island,. Me, the last born? I chose not to have kids either. I was THE rebel, wanting to take a different path than any of them. I grew up wanting more than anything to drive a semi! I did it, even owned a trucking company. Looking nothing like the "trucker" stereotype, it was fun to shock people. LOL Then, I got hit at a fairly young age w/ a rare form of arthritis that changed my life plan- if I had one, ,lol. My calling is to save the worlds cats and dogs and open a life-long shelter, but have yet to win the lottery. :( I am the youngest, even look very young for my age I am told, but FEEL the oldest intellectually, as I have had more varied life experiences as the family rebel. ;)

3 siblings, I'm the oldest...and have the highest IQ and best memory as far as facts. But I will not be the most successful, for I've dropped out of college and work in a dead-end job.

My brother is 20 and in his second year of tech school. He is definitely more technically smarter than I and my sister.

My sister just graduated high school with an average GPA, and has scholarships because of her leadership ability. She will definitely be the most successful because she has taken what my brother and I have done wrong and changed that about herself.

3 siblings all over 60. I think we are all as smart as the other, but I am the first and the only one with a college degree. Second one is the richest and the third one was kind of a nerd but did not do much with his intelligence.

I don't think the 1st borns are always the smartest! Out of my sisters and I...we are all relatively smart, but my baby sister is the "brainiest of us all." My 2nd oldest sister is also very smart! It all depends.
