i know everyone says it and everyone hates "emo" ppl, but why, what does emo even mean? i dont get it can you explain it to me?

the only real reason why ppl hate emos is because thier misunderstood. most ppl sterotype them by assuming that all emo ppl cut themself and are always depressed all the time and write crappy poetry. THAT IS TOTALLY NOT THE CASE!!! not all emo ppl cut themselves and we hav feelings. so to everyone else out there, dont hate on emo ppl when u dont kno a d.amn thing about them to begin with.

It's a go-to statement that analysts use to basically say that because Lebron hasn't won a title he isn't great individually. They also use it to downplay the success of the Cavaliers. The funny thing about that is, whenever someone says "hey why hasn't Lebron won a title?" The comeback is always "well he never had a great team". So basically first they state that Lebron has to win a title for the Cavaliers, but then blame the lack of a title on his teammates. Well, according to them, his teammates aren't important if *he* has to win them a title. Oh I see, it's only their fault if they don't win. They're full of crap. First of all I'm not a great believer in the idea that titles necessarily make a player great. Besides like you said it's not just Lebron who wants a title, the CAVALIERS want a title. Analysts on ESPN etc. forget that their are many important players that are major parts to that team or any team.

i am not really sure what emo means and i am so glad u asked this question because i have been wondering for ages :P
i am goth/punk and i am not sure but i think emo means that u just want to be goth or something. i really dont know though sorry :D

oh my why couldn't you just search emo in the search box? but i'll tell you anyways. it used to be all emos cut themselves and are all depressed but now it's just a fashion statement. most emos don't cut themselves now days and they listen to emo music(FYI most emo bands are not famous, fall out boy is NOT emo). you can also go to urbandictionary.com they have better definitions than anyone on YA!

I think Emo is somewhere between punk and goth on list of cliques.

Emo is short for emotional, it pretty much means your just getting fed up with the world, and you take everything so d@mn serious, thats the best way i can explian it
