my fags, booze and the twins waiting in my bed

The fact that I have shared the same air as some of the greats, the likes of Martin Luther King, Mother Theresa, Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela!

Also...How many people have been walking and felt the need to try and jump and reach the ceiling? How many people have been disappointed when they haven't and happy when they have?

I see the same in the sky above me. How many people have been disappointed when they haven't achieved something and happy when they have? You should try and reach the stars!

I was given a life, and I should make good use of it!
There are so many people dieing every single day! Scared little children that crawl under their beds to escape the abuse they receive! Animals being restricted to tiny cages! People on oxygen machines, struggling for breath! Hopeful mothers praying to God that their child will recover and defeat the coma they are blinded by! Soldiers putting their neck on the line to protect their country!

Knowing that I can make a difference and learning about some of the selfless acts of the people I mentioned in the first paragraph, inspire and motivate me! One of the many reasons I wake up each day!

Thanks
Awesome Question! x

The prospect finding that One Love; or already having that love for someone in my heart (even though it's not returned). Love is a beautiful feeling. Hope keeps me alive.

Also, the prospect of all the good times ahead with people I love..

Another thing that makes me feel happy to be alive is knowing how much there is for me to learn...and enjoy, through good books, good movies, art....

What makes me happy is the ability to love others. I love to help other people when I can, and sometimes if I have a bit of cash left at the end of the week, I like to buy something little for cousins of mine because my auntie is rather skint!!!

What makes me happiest the most is when I see people enjoying what I have done for them.

Standing on the sand with my feet in the water and the sun on my back
My daughter's smile when she wakes up in the morning
Being out in the woods with the dog early in the morning when the rest of the world is still asleep
Good books
Summer barbecues with friends
The smell of autumn
Cake!

Believe me,
Everyday I have tonnes of interesting conversations - I'm always learning new things from them. Gradually I have began to express my opinion more, and not withdraw it in fear of rejection. For a long time, I was quite quiet and reserved. Not able to be myself. Now, a few years later I feel like a new person - and I'm really happy with who I am!
Yes, I constantly have things to worry about. When one of my worries vanishes, another appears. But the time in between, is worth it!
I feel very fortunate, I'm sorrounded by a lot of true, nice people - who make me able to be me!

thanks

My children and the fact that they are what they were raised to be, and animals, and rainy, cold, gray days.

I think lots and lots of money would also bring me happiness, but I've never been in a position to judge that, yet.

My 3 year old son! He fills my life with love and joy. When I am blue or down he brightens up my day!
When I feel like giving up, he gives me that strength to keep on going. He is my reason for waking up every morning.
