I would say definitely the Yankees. I think a lot of people liked the Red Sox because they hadn't won a world series in so long, so they were a sentimental favorite, but the yankees is either a love em or hate em team.

Are we talking outright just pure disdain for? If so, it has to be the Yankees simply because of the mentality of everything they stand for. Spend a ton of money on whatever and see what happens. Team chemistry means nothing to them.

If we are talking as an entire organization, it's a straight tie between the Orioles and the Rangers. They are both ran so poorly and have been for many, many years. The Rangers have constantly been the butt of jokes in the MLB. They always give away the good ones, and end up being a second rate team. They are offensively sound, but they never seem to keep the good pitchers they get.

Yanks have it nationally, because the Red Sox run to the championship was such a great story. Even when the Yankees stunk during the CBS-ownership years, the club was still seen as a dreaded opponent.

I'm a Twins fan so I hate the White Sox more, but the Yankees are a close second.

The Chicago White Soxs in 1909 for the Black Sox Scandal....They purposely lost the World Series for money so the men that paid them to do it would bet on their opponents and win a ton of money.

I believe you are correct in that assumption. The Yankees followed by the Red Sox. My personal hatred starts with the Mets, however.

The Yankees hands down. Success breeds contempt. 26 Championships says it all.

I think that the Yankee fans are easier to hate than the team itself. The team is filled with great players, but laughable that they just can't get it done lately.

Yanks. And when they are the most hated they are the most respected.
