Do they give up Gwynn Jr.? And do you go for a star or more pitching?

I believe the Brewers see themselves as a playoff contender and would be looking to acquire players, but in their case not a huge issue of importance. They are solid everywhere including pitching with Sheets, Villanueva, Vargas, Capuano, and Suppan. Should they come across a deal for someone they might do something but it is not necessarily something that will happen.

i would love to see the brew crew make a big trade and a push for the playoffs. but really, they have no money to spend. only if their owners will go in debt, much like the marlins did years ago to win a title, will this be possible.
