My wife has returned from work (she is a cleaner) and I have spent the day at home (working on my pc).

She is now in front of me (yes, right now) cleaning the floor on her hands and knees in her night clothes.

Part of me is happy that the training has paid of, whilst another part thinks she should get me another beer.

How do I approach this without wearing the beer?

Also, she hasn't finished yet and has missed a few bits.

It's quite a dilema

It's ok, she stopped doing that inorder to take the cats litter tray out.

Phew!!

But should I get my own beer?

You don't buy a dog and bark yourself do you?

Ok, ok, before all the abuse starts, I love my wife.

And I've told her she loves me to.

She should be starting the dinner, helping the children with their homework and making sure that you're comfortable by now. You need to train her better. Also has the dog been walked yet and the dog's and cat's dinners been prepared, I think a gentle reminder is in order, especially about cleaning the bathroom before you go up for a refreshing shower so you can go out to a bar for a quick beer with friends before dinner.

Did she have to pass the fridge on the way to take the cat litter tray out? If so you casually say....."Hun could you get me a cold one if your passing the fridge? no worries if your busy...love you..." That way you are leaving it up to her, not demanding anything of her but letting her know you want something and whether she gets it or not you love her anyway. Shes a woman who obviously likes her home clean and things done right, and im sure she likes to feel loved and appreciated and when you say something nice like that she will subcontiously have to reward you. Trust me using this method she will get your beer.....and while you drink i hope you'll feel a least a little bit guilty for manipulating her!!!!

Silly man! What an attention getter this one is!!! Help her to the sofa, put her feet up on a soft cushion where you will massage them. Get both of you a beer and while she is drinking hers, you need to lick the rest of the dirt from the floor!

you,ve certainly made very light of the question! i would see to it that you stop your wife from having a cleaning job,it sounds like she,s getting obsessed with it,it,s very disturbing to become that way about cleaning,i,ve been there myself in naval married quarters,it can (seriuosly) make you very ill,i,m happy to hear you both love each other, she needs to stop the cleaning job and the housework for a while, and relax, all that cleaning will still be there when she is,nt.

if she really loved you back, she would have noticed your beer was empty before you did and have already gotten you an ice cold beer to replace it. HA HA!
