And why do you think that is? A find it quite amusing that certain people are afraid they won't get an answer they like. Typical conservative action. "You're either with me or against me."

I've been blocked by a couple of the con trolls. I consider it a compliment. They don't like it when we make them look foolish, so they block us. It's really sort of funny. That way they can feed their hate with people who agree with them. Not exactly a good example of high intelligence is it, not to mention extremely cowardly?

EDIT: Sassy, SOG is just another troll coward who can't stand to be challenged. He must be scared of his own shadow.

I take exception to the generalization. I am a conservative and I have not blocked anyone. I don't even give people thumbs down because I hate the way it causes the answer to collapse. I participate in answers because I am curious about other people's opinions. I am not afraid of other opinions. They are just thoughts and cannot hurt me in the least. Now while I don't deny that there are probably conservatives who do this, I am also equally sure that there are probably an equal number of liberals who do the same thing. The point I am making here is why does it matter? If people block you sobeit! Do you really want to engage in discussion with people who are predisposed to ignore your opinion no matter what? Or would rather expend energy conversing with people who you might actually have a chance of influencing if your argument is strong enough?

I got my first one today. I answered a question using truth and logic and couldn't get back to view other responses later because I was blocked.

The irony of it all is the person who blocked me is a well known Conservative troll.

It is amusing that people are afraid to hear the truth and cannot put up with not only the truth, but someone elses opinion that is different from theirs.

**Son of George blocked me when I made a "fun" comment about Rush Limbaugh. And they say that Liberals have no sense of humor.

If they keep up that "with me or against me" mentality, soon the only ones on Yahoo.answers will be Conservatives. But maybe that is the way the want it.

I have been blocked by people on both sides, because I don't agree with issues from both sides, I am a fundamentalist, constitutionalists, and believe as intended that the Constitution, and Bill Of Rights, is our protection from this big business, militarization, globalization of our Government. The type of corruption that our founding fathers didn't want, and also look up how our founding fathers did not like or want democracy, we are a Republic(were).

As a mostly conservative person I can say that I've had several answers reported and removed. After reviewing my offending answers, I can't figure out what the violation was...

Despite the aggravation of being censored, I take it as a compliment.

No! When one Liberal-minded idiot. Answers a question by saying, "I'm passing your girlfriend a joint". Why should we expect anything intelligent from ones like that? For those Liberals, who actually answer my questions? Or respond in an intelligent, respectful manner? I have no problem with. But why would we have to be subjected to such insane forms of stupidity? Answer:
This site is called "Yahoo Answers". Not "Yahoo Insults". As long as I see you responding respectfully? I have no problem with it.

I agree with you on this. And believe me, it's happening on both sides. I've been blocked by a person that I don't even know and of course, it's a lib.. LOL He's been blocked back (yep, I can be childish too). Other than that, I have blocked a few known stalkers.

So roll with the punches along with the rest of us. Some people are too self-centered to be able to agree to disagree. Shame, isn't it?

I've found that the opposite is actually more a problem. Conservatives being blocked by the libs. Either case is generally childish and counter productive. As is the over zealous use of violation reporting. Both throw a wet blanket on open debate.

This pleasant person is blocked by several conservatives.

I think it's because I debunk their propaganda.

I have been blocked by only one person who is a big coward and asks a bunch of idiot questions anyway. Oh look the baby has answered this question already.

I have only blocked a couple of people, it wasn't due to their answers or opinions...it was due to threats of violence and death made against me personally through email by self proclaimed liberals..other than that I am open to hearing ALL opinions from ALL sides.
